A TERRIFIC REMEMBRANCE OF THE FABULOUS "50's"
WICKER BASSINET BABY BED
A bassinet, bassinette, or cradle is a bed specifically for babies from birth to about four months, and small enough to provide a "cocoon" that small babies find comforting. These have been popular since the middle ages and wicker seems to be the most popular style. They were light, convenient and usually inexpensive. In modern days convertible models have become popular as they give parents the opportunity to fold it for storage or travel and use as car bed or hotel use.
INTERIOR
This auction is for a beautiful vintage 1940's - 50's bassinet. It is made almost entirely of wicker and wood. There is a hood to give baby shade. It has folding legs, so you can use it as a travel bed. The whole thing measures about 40 inches tall with canopy, 30 inches long and 20 inches wide. Included is a washable interior bunting and extra cloth bunting pad cover.
Condition: The bassinet is in reasonably good condition. There is a padded vinyl lining installed inside that is probably not original. A cloth bunting and pad cover does come with this crib. It may have been repainted, but a fresh coat of spray would improve its appearance.

RETURNS / REFUND POLICY
No returns allowed unless item is not as described, unless otherwise specified. I  will accept returns with a valid reason. (This doesn't include change of mind!) Item must be returned in original condition (within 7 days of receipt), un-damaged.  Buyer to pay return postage. (Recorded Advisable) Refund will not include postage paid to deliver the item.
