Description
This listing is for a lot of 3 vintage magazine ads from the 1940s. One of them is for Blue Grass, a fragrance by Elizabeth Arden. Another is for Frolic, a fragrance by Cheramy. The third one is for Coty Air-Spun Powder. Each ad is already stored inside its own 8.5" X 11" clear protective plastic sleeve with a piece of cardboard behind it to keep it stiff. They will be mailed inside a cardboard photo mailer.
Please note that the clear protective plastic sleeves had labels in the upper right corner that briefly described the ads and gave prices for an antique mall. I tried to peel those labels off before taking these photos today, but the label on the Blue Grass sleeve didn't come off completely (as seen in Photo #8). The labels on the other two sleeves peeled off, but they damaged the plastic (as seen in Photos #9-12).
The good news is that the damage is ONLY on the plastic sleeves and NOT on the ads. If you are planning to frame these ads and hang them on a wall, you'd want to remove them from the plastic sleeves anyway to prevent glare.
