Curtis cab & Massey OPENING TOP 2-pack strut for the sub compact tractor

This listing is for a 2-pack of replacement Opening Top Gas Support Struts for the Curtis cab used on the sub compact tractors using the Curtis cab with glass sliding windows in the  doors.
This listing is for two replacement "Opening Top gas support struts" for the sub compact tractors using the Curtis cab with glass sliding windows in the doors.  I own a  2016 Massey gc1705 sub compact tractor with a Curtis cab. My cab has glass sliding windows and a removable rear glass.  I love the opening top on their cab which allows air to flow and is much cooler too ride in then my previous cab, however I was not happy with the top struts.   I did a lot of research and testing to find a strut which would work better on my Curtis cab. This is a good strut which I feel works better than the original and is a lot less money.  You must replace both of the top struts because they will hold the top at a different height.  The original door and top struts are the same.  The number on the originals on mine was 9GS02Q.  If you have a bad door strut you can purchase our door struts listed on E-bay on another listing then move one of the original door struts to the top and you will not need these until all the originals fail.  Both of my door struts and  one of my top struts have already failed.
