Cherry Blossom Perfume as Dirigible Trade Card Bookmark & 1890 & 1891 Calendar!

Description

A trade card that is also a bookmark and calendar advertising Cherry Blossom, a perfume/toilet powder/soap product by John Gosnelli. The illustration on the front is of a dirigible or hot air balloon where the balloon part is a bottle of Cherry Blossom. At the bottom is a poem, written in French, titled 'Le Figaro, 7-9-89'. On the back of the bookmark is a calendar for 1890 and 1891. A 1" triangle-shaped cut out helps the bookmark attach to the pages of a book. Printed in 1890. 4 3/4" x 2 3/4".
