The Centaur CSD-2DR-BAL Centaur Plus™ reach-in refrigerator has a durable stainless steel front and sides for simplified cleaning. White aluminum lines the interior, and its stainless steel floor adds rust resistance. When opened before 90 degrees, the doors close automatically, though if they are opened any farther, they will remain so for convenient stocking. Stored items sit on six epoxy-coated, corrosion-resistant shelves, and because the shelves are made of wire, air can flow around product for even cooling.
To keep cold temperatures, a capillary tube system controls the flow of R290 refrigerant. Users can program the unit to run at a level between 34 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit and check the current level on the external digital display. Potentially reducing downtime, the display also shows self-diagnostics for issues, while the compressor for this Centaur CSD-2DR-BAL two-section refrigerator is mounted on the bottom and slides out when maintenance is needed. Reducing strain on the system, the bottommost location ensures the condensing unit operates in the coolest part of the kitchen. Because a heated condensate pan evaporates condensate water, no drain connection is required and staff members will never have to empty the pan.
