Because the door on the Centaur CSD-1DR-BAL-27-G reach-in refrigerator is made of glass, employees can see what's inside without opening the door and wasting energy. The door allows easy access when opened past 90 degrees, but self-closes when open less than to help prevent energy loss. The cabinet is surrounded by polyurethane insulation that provides structural rigidity and insulates the unit well to further promote efficiency.
The Centaur CSD-1DR-BAL-27-G one-section refrigerator holds sheet pans from front to back on four shelves. Its temperature is adjustable from 33 to 41 degrees Fahrenheit with a solid-state thermostat and a digital display reads out this number so employees can verify its accuracy. The refrigeration system cools with R290 refrigerant and the bottom-mounted condenser and compressor can easily be accessed for cleaning and maintenance via a removable rear panel.
