After 70 years the factory screws are probably quite rusted. Replace them now with stainless screws and forget about rust in this area forever. Also, the original sheet metal speed nuts and are most likely rusted and/or stripped out by now. The U-nuts in this kit are black Nylon. That type will hold better and last longer than steel and never rust. Finally there are four stainless steel washers in the kit to help even the pressure from the screw and cover up rounded out holes.

INSTALLATION
: All you need is a medium or large Phillips head screwdriver.
NOTE
: When installed with a Cyclone style air cleaner the screw heads are exposed. In other installations the screw heads are covered by the door.
