    Description

    9 3/4" x 12 1/2" May 1950 Better Homes and Gardens magazine
    print ad for Avon Toiletries for Men, featuring an Alfred Frendemen portrait of New York Yankees baseball star Joe DiMaggio.
    This is an original magazine page, carefully removed at the staples from a 1948 BHG magazine, uncut and untorn, still attached at the seam to its companion pages.   There is slight discoloration around the edges and holes from the staples that would be masked by framing.  There is some just perceptible creasing or unevenness across the bottom picture and logo.
